NEW ALBUM: ANDREW BIRD ~ Inside Problems - Ruby - 04-06-2022 ANDREW BIRD ~ Inside Problems Presumably referring to the psyche - the title, I'm going to have to sit with this one for a while! Andrew Bird is his ebullient, challenging self. One of the most interesting musicians around – to me. All a bit much for my foggy brain to absorb in its entirety at this precise moment, but I know I like the sounds which is good enough to be going on with. Plenty of his unique brand of fiddling, some whistling, all the hallmarks you’d expect along with astute observations, questions and clever lyrics. Predictable and ordinary, Mr Bird is not.
