NEW SINGLE: ADRIAN BELEW - a13 - Ruby - 30-04-2022
The ever energetic Adrian Belew will release his new album, Elevator, later this year.
The a13 is a train, I take it, from the very smart pace at which this tootles along! And a few other clues
.There's something quite refreshing about what he does - no b/s. Some snippets of the lyrics which are nothing if not direct ... "What a frightful year it's been" - this is true, and I can't remember the last time I heard someone use the word frightful which I'm liking a lot in this, for some reason. It's just so damn cheerfully sung, LOL! I'm also inclined to agree that "if I never see a mask again, it will be too soon"!
Gotta admire the man's pizzazz - a catchy little number which expresses a few current (or recently current (if that can be a thing!)) frustrations. Interested to hear the album ...
