Another institution gone to dust. Never got much further than Bat Out of Hell and one or two more, but he was certainly a standalone and memorable voice. Helluva a partnership he and Steinman made - R.I.P. to them both.

Last night it was said on the Entertainment Tonight show how the meat loaf name came to him. When he was younger, his football coach once said, "Get off of me you big hunk of meat loaf!"
