a couple of small value giftcards this year Ruby and a couple of things i needed as opposed to what i would normally just request...
i think people in general seem to becoming more 'practical' in gift giving over the last year or so as they/we as a whole re-evaluate things in this Covid-19 world.
(and to be perfectly honest ive got to say that i am the same).
in fact,
on my mum's birthday earlier in the year she requested no gifts, 'just take me out for a coffee'...
my sister said the same thing in April also...
today, my parents just took me out for brunch, my sister is taking me out to another cafe this evening for a meal...
its definitely a time where 'social contact/meet-ups' are what we all appear to crave after lockdowns etc....
a back to basics approach to occasions/gift giving seems to be where it is at...

Birthday present will be late but it's coming. Of course it's going to be 'Electronic Beats - the super duper Remixed & Remastered extended version'. How lucky can you get!
