NEW ALBUM: Alan Jackson - "where have you gone" - CRAZY-HORSE - 15-05-2021 Deezer listen: country music legend Jackson's 18th studio album his first in six years... a stock standard old fashioned country album... mostly acoustic based tracks some love songs, and sad songs, even an obligatory 'oh woe is me, tear in my beer' tune... album seemed a bit long at 21 tracks but six years is a long time to do nothing i guess... three stand out tracks for me: "thats the way love goes", a tribute to Merle Haggard. "where her heart has always been" a tribute to his mom who died in 2017 and... "wishful drinking", the woe is me tear in my beer track... my favorite has already been posted a sa single  this one is right up Possum's alley....great stuff IMO.
