yeah a remake:
when she was younger she was locked into a contract that basically screwed her financially
it gave the ownership of the songs to the dude who owned the label (if im not mistaken)
Taylor tried to have the contract null-and-void in the courts but lost.
the dude owns the rights to her first five or so albums...
in response she is on the process of re-recording her back catalogue and asking fans to not buy the original albums anymore but the newly recorded ones.
even after all these decades young artists still get screwed by managers etc...!
