my thumb.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 14-02-2021 five months since my injury thumb on my predominant left hand still not healed to what it previously was havent got the strength, grip and usageĀ i used to have probably as good as it is going to get now and thus, still limited to what i can do with it. RE: my thumb.... - Jerome - 14-02-2021 I must have missed that post Crazy - how did you injure it? Physio might help. RE: my thumb.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 14-02-2021 sliced it open with an angle grinder, severed both nerves and the artery, 7 external stitches and whatever they used to do the internal repair. had occupational therapy (physio) on a positive note i have got all the feeling back which is great RE: my thumb.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 16-03-2021 so, i have had to use my non-predominant right hand to do things over the last few months and now i have Carpel Tunnel in my right wrist... Cortizone injection to ease it booked for 1st April... cortizone injections are never taken lightly as a diabetic because the steroids play havoc with BSL's (blood sugar levels) which can make them double or even triple for several days after the procedure... if that fails to help its operation time, the last thing i need ATM. RE: my thumb.... - CRAZY-HORSE - 03-04-2021 LOL had my Covid vaccine booked for the 8th April, had to postpone it until the 15th April as Cortisone apparently weakens your immune system to varying degrees and cannot have any vaccine within 10 days of receiving it... |
