NEW ALBUM: Bruce Springsteen "letter to you" - CRAZY-HORSE - 23-10-2020 Spotify listen: his twentieth studio album. E-Street Band on here. how come he doesnt credit them on the covers of his albums anymore??. typical Boss album. some rock, some Americana/Heartland Rock and a few ballads. a couple on here im not keen on, the rest a pretty decent. recorded live with no overdubs over four days. three old tracks on here, originally written back around '73, two of those are my faves on the album. disliked "high hopes" from '14, "western stars" from '19 just made the grade, this one is better than those two by a long shot IMO. best songs on here for me are the slower acoustic/folkier ballads. favourite:  sounds like mid '70s Dylan to me. RE: NEW ALBUM: Bruce Springsteen "letter to you" - CRAZY-HORSE - 30-10-2020 debuted at #1 in the UK this week with 51,000 sales am surprised it is his eleventh #1 studio album over there debuted at #1 here in Australia this week also, his fifth studio album to get to #1 now for the Billboard charts later in the week.... stupid Americans....#2 !!!!! maybe if he called himself "Lil Boss" he would have been #1. RE: NEW ALBUM: Bruce Springsteen "letter to you" - Music Head - 04-11-2020 lol on the Lil Boss that mighta worked he should have had a featured rapper typical Bruce here that's a good thing no knockouts, just another good album 2 singles never clicked for me, title track and Ghosts like your pick here's mine always prefer the longer tracks time to sink your brain into it unless it's just repetition
