Am I pushing it thinking of this as Country & Western?
With his more recent stuff he relies far too much on producing every part of a song himself locked away in his own studio.
Appears to have an aversion to performing with other musicians. Hope he gets over it.

I’m no expert with C & W only having started to enjoy it in my old age.

Old age and next to no short term memory had me forget I’d used the phrase ‘Am I pushing it’.
