Spotify listen:

ive been looking forward to this one since I read about it months ago, and it doesn't disappoint...
she has always had what I call a 'sultry voice' and that style suits jazz perfectly IMO...
a covers album...
not all were jazz tunes originally, but Chrissie and her Ensemble have arranged them that way...
three instrumentals on here, I can live with that as I like jazz instrumentals...
she sings in French on one track, that one makes me go all ga-ga, the language of love, her sultry vocals, damn you Chrissie!...
all up, a very, very good album,
in fact, "classy" is just about the only way to describe it...
its on the 'to purchase' list...

^I really like what I've heard of this album so will listen to the whole thing now. My fav so far is the Mingus - "Meditation on a Pair of Wire Cutters" ...
