NEW ALBUM: Bruce Springsteen "western stars" - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-06-2019 Spotify listen: nineteenth studio album... some acoustic folky type songs, some orchestrated tracks, some soft rock/pop... its not a great (classic) Springsteen album on first listen, but I think there is enough there to hear something new and continue to grow with each passing listen... ive got to be honest and say I was expecting it to not only disappoint me but also to be full of anti-Trump themes and messages, and im glad I was proved wrong on both accounts... its not as solomn/dour as "ghost of Tom Joad" but at the same time  its not as catchy as the  acoustic "Nebraska", it appears on a first up listen fit nicely between the two as a bridging album/companion piece... he almost certainly isnt going to win over new fans with this album and all i can say is that it simply a typical Springsteen album... and it is obviously on the to purchase list... the singles:  "hello sunshine"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icJjlg5e6l8  audio "there goes my miracle"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbDKBcPsmoQ   audio  (my favourite track on the album) "Tuscon train"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsH4URIWNRE  video RE: NEW ALBUM: Bruce Springsteen "western stars" - CRAZY-HORSE - 22-06-2019 #1 on debut in both Australia and the UK this week, all I can say is...thank F@#k Madonna didn't out sell him! It's a classy affair. I wasn't taken with all the tracks but none were offensive. He's attained statesman of rock n roll status IMHO. Very tasteful. ^^Neither of you stole my favs which are "Stones" (love those strings) and the final cut ...  (Lol MH - "Bruce is starting to look a lot like Willie" ... strange but true!)
