NEW ALBUM: Jim James "uniform distortion" - CRAZY-HORSE - 29-06-2018 JIM JAMES "uniform distortion" Spotify listen: frontman for My Morning Jacket... sixth solo set, but third of original material... apparently, in arty circles, the cover art is quite well known, its a photo called "the illuminated man"... JJ saw it in an old magazine he was reading late last year and it became the  spark that lit the fire to create this album... well, the music is distorted, has a definite Crazy Horse sound happening throughout... slight Sonic Youth sound also (if you listen hard enough and use your imagination)... another good solid album from Jim... i'd love to hear him collaborate with Neil Young as both artists have a mutual respect for eachother and have toured together on several occasions on the same bill. the single: and my favourite track: RE: NEW ALBUM: Jim James "uniform distortion" - Music Head - 17-07-2018 enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week at #200 courtesy of Spotify not as thrilled as CH over done on the distortion but it is in the title just ok for me fav RE: NEW ALBUM: Jim James "uniform distortion" - CRAZY-HORSE - 17-07-2018 "ok" was better than I thought it would get from you mate, so i'll take that...
