NEW ALBUM: John Prine "the tree of forgiveness" - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-04-2018 JOHN PRINE "the tree of forgiveness" Spotify listen: only thing I know of John Prine is his 1976 album "bruised orange" which I love... this is the 71 year old's first album of original material in nearly fifteen years since his cancer operations/chemo.... his voice sounds tired and weary, much like John Cash on his American Recordings albums... his voice is also more gravelly and deeper than I remember it to be but it is still distinctly  John Prine.... the melodies in the songs are similar to those on Bruised Orange also... all up, a pretty darn good album, and one on my "to purchase" list. from the album: the single:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XLaIFTmJF8 and my favourite track: RE: NEW ALBUM: John Prine "the tree of forgiveness" - Music Head - 27-04-2018 enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week at #5 courtesy of Spotify from Illinois highest ranking debut after 17 albums longevity prevails terrible cover pic but I'm thinkin I'm not looking that great either album makes me wish I still bought albums if you want a best of prine just get his self titled debut CH fav is also mine followed by this one RE: NEW ALBUM: John Prine "the tree of forgiveness" - CRAZY-HORSE - 27-04-2018 LOL, was a toss up between those two as to which one I posted, so now we have both posted!
