Hi, I'm new here. I play one musical instrument and am thinking of starting another, hopefully someday soon. I came across this board searching for online music forums and MD looked like the best place to be (seriously, I don't just join any old forum :biggrin1
Music's not my life's work, but I enjoy most aspects of it; from playing it and (occasionally) composing it, to just listening to and appreciating it. Cheers. :tea:

I play the flute and I occasionally sing. I probably could teach myself piano if I wanted, but recently I've been wanting to start learning the viola, which has prompted me to seek out select music fora to discuss this idea.
mile2:I like a lot of different things when it comes to music. I like a lot of classical/ orchestrally-instrumental, but I still listen to a variety of other type of music too. From pop to (some) country, rock to folk. :biggrin1:
