I just discovered this artist i'd never heard of...Richard Hawley....!
UK singer/songwriter...
has collaborated with Paul Weller, Arctic Monkeys, Lisa Marie Presley, Pulp,
he was also a member of Pulp for a while with his best friend Jarvis Cocker
and also played in a couple of minor Brit Pop bands in the 1990s,

I youtubed him and listened to a couple of tracks, both of which are ballads...
loved this linked track as soon as it stated and well worth a listen peeps so give it a whirl, I think youll like it.

Yes I had heard of Richard Hawley via the Bob Lind forum. Lind is a great admirer of Hawley, and I think vice versa.
I listened to a Richard Hawley album once; I didn't like it enough to buy it, but there were some nice songs on it.

MH...like you, didn't watch the video, but listened instead,
bob_32...had a feeling you may have heard of him with the Pulp/Lind connection.
I only came across him because of the Weller connection, and this is how music works for me a lot of times nowadays...ie: by association
