Highly Suspect "the boy who died wolf" - CRAZY-HORSE - 30-11-2016 ![]() Highly Suspect "the boy who died wolf" Spotify listen: for some reason I was expecting metal as in the 'el screamo' type... a pleasant surprise of alt rock instead... hearing lots of influences in this one, but none I can remember... melodic alt rock IMO I like it. from the album: Highly Suspect "the boy who died wolf" - Music Head - 02-12-2016 enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week at #28 courtesy of YouTube from Massachusetts 2nd album very good album would be on my list if I had one voice has a Kings Of Leon guy sound single I listened to it first then watched the video it was not as good the second time Highly Suspect "the boy who died wolf" - uncle salty - 02-12-2016 Hey, these cats aren't bad. I agree, at their core, they're an alt band. They've got a heavier edge, though. Not hard to guess what they grew up on. I can hear some Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Sound Garden, etc, sifting throughout both these cuts. Definitely worth a closer listen. Highly Suspect "the boy who died wolf" - CRAZY-HORSE - 03-12-2016 well said both Uncle Salty and MH.... yes they sound like Kings Of Leon, but like Salty said, they have a heavier edge with Stone Temple Pilots, Sound Garden etc. and yes, its on the "to purchase" list (along with 29 other cds!) |
