Guitar Gitane GJ-15 Gypsy Jazz - nando - 14-11-2016 Hi everyone! I'm new at the forum, and I would appreciate if someone could help me with this doubt: I have a lot of interest in buying this guitar model Gitane gj-15, I know it is designed for a more gypsy jazz sound, but I have an interest in using it to compose and do covers of various genres, and I would like to know If there is, really, any limitation to play other musical styles, such as progressive acoustic rock, indie, shoegaze, bossa nova etc. Thank you in advance! /|\ Peace! (and sorry for my bad english hahaha) Guitar Gitane GJ-15 Gypsy Jazz - Jerome - 14-11-2016 Had a look at the instrument via Google. It might be very well suited to playing the other styles you mention. The most important thing about an instrument is - are you comfortable playing it? Do you like the sound of it? Is the action too high/low for you? Do you need onboard electronics in order to amplify the instrument? Never buy an instrument online without trying it out first. Good luck with your adventures! Guitar Gitane GJ-15 Gypsy Jazz - nando - 14-11-2016 Yeah, mate, thanks, I think I might be needing some amplifiable guitar. I'm gonna try out this one to see what it can do hahaha but thank you! |
