While this might be technically brilliant the question is does anyone really want to listen to how fast a person can play the guitar or whether the music actually moves you. For me personally, less is definitely more.

Right, while I might be impressed with and enjoyed by the skills, it takes more to be moved...

me personally, id rather hear someone playing a loud "A" chord than someone sounding like an angry bee as they go up, down and all around the fret board.
that said, there are times it is necessary or warranted to play like that,
as I said, id rather hear something simple but on the other hand im a big fan of Iron Maiden and they use the fret board like its a running track.

I wish I could play like that! lol...but who would continually listen to it? J Man and Crazy Mate....less is much better and a loud A chord followed by a power chord is straight up my alley!

Sometimes a sustained note says more than than thirty notes played fast. Sometimes it's the other way around. Playing fast for the sake of playing fast kills the concept of music conveying emotions.
