my last new album listen for the week:
Grace,
Aussie singer....
debut album....
came to my attention last year with her superb cover of
Lesley Gore's "you don't own me"...
brilliant track but could have done without the rap section though!
this album starts off with some pop/dance and by track four or five
when "you don't own me" comes into play the whole feel of the album changes
to lovely ballads, old fashioned r+b and a bluesy feel...
love her raspy vocals also...
very good album after the initial couple of tracks...
