You might think this has been done to exhaustion...and you'd be right. Most of those others were flaccid, syrupy, Montovani-esque versions; how about the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic really leaning into good charts and just beingin' it? Lucky for us, there's a whole CD of this--put this up on your best box and feel your face sweat. http://www.allmusic.com/album/cello-submarine-mw0000157613 << That last-sentence "flaw"? They avoided anything that already had cellos for good reason--what extra could they bring? Available for DL, streaming or or purchase at the Usual Suspect for <$10. A seminal early digital recording (1983) that stands up today--doesn't sound dated or hokey at all. Here's what I'm talkin' about:

This was a superior project for them but they do plenty of other stuff too:

Coincidental Jazzy! I was pondering the idea of a Beatles cover thread to showcase the pure melodic timeless beauty of their music and this fits the bill enormously! Thanks for the post and I will check out Cello Sub Marine!!!!!...that reminds me I must revisit Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic soon!
