Honey Ryder - Drink With Me - geeeaidan - 02-07-2015 Check out this awesome new single from Country music stars Honey Ryder... Really cool pop country anthem here from their album 'Born In A Bottle' https://soundcloud.com/honeyryder/drink-with-me ![]() Quote:When Honey Ryder started sketching ideas for their second album, Marleyâs Chains, they had no idea they were about to embark on a journey that would take them to a five star recording studio in Thailand and to Nashville to write with a host of Grammy Award-winning musicians. Were it not for the sumptuous, country and folk-fused pop songs they brought back to London, the trio would have to pinch themselves to be sure the past two years truly happened. https://www.facebook.com/HoneyRyderBand Honey Ryder - Drink With Me - CRAZY-HORSE - 02-07-2015 I listened but I don't like it..... Honey Ryder - Drink With Me - Music Head - 02-07-2015 nope not for me Honey Ryder - Drink With Me - kate - 02-07-2015 If this is country, then the nomenclature of musical genres has become a run-on sentence. Certainly nothing offensive here: It's Lite-Brite and cotton candy with a popish folk/indie sensibility rooted more in the Indigo Girls than Hank Sr., Merle, or even 70's chart maestro John Denver. I'm afraid this next bit is terribly dramatic for the merest spot of marginal commentary invited by the O/P's harmless solicitation, but in the interest of full disclosure, the following literary image mentally flashed as I contemplated the blurring of musical categories prompted by her video: "No question now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."**/peace, K **I'd love to purport being a walking encylopaedia of profound Orwellian quotes, but I had to pull 84 off the shelf for this one (it felt somehow wrong to google a select word search rather than indulge the visceral tactility of thumbing through the actual paper and glue incarnation - especially in this case!).
