I used to love Depeche Mode back in the 1980s,even own a few of their albums on cassette(the first four) and also a couple more on cd....
also own lots of their singles from back in the day(about 20 of them I guess)....

IMO, their music sounds dated,boring,flat and without soul/feel to me now....
the exceptions being "people are people", "just cant get enough" and "blasphemous rumours"....the rest,i can do without.

I only ever bought one album - Music for the Masses and I was thoroughly disappointed. Gave it away and never bought another DM album.
