PAUL WELLER "long time"

another new song released by Paul Weller to promote his
soon to be released "saturns pattern" album in May...
not really sure what to make of this one even after a couple
of listens...
its full of what they now call 'modern psychadelia', but there
is also some straight three chord rock and roll in it...
maybe its called 'rockadelia' or something...
lyrics are pretty weak for Weller, his vocals just sound uninspiring
and uninspired also...
but at the same time it is different from the rest of the new stuff ive
heard so cudo's to Mr.Weller for once again stepping outside his
comfort zone and re-inventing himself, though some might say:
"if the wheel aint broken, why fix it?"
