Is it just me??? - Mark William - 15-07-2009 Is it me or is it easier to pull your own teeth than to use this forum??? None of my replies have been posted...I cannot get anywhere in this place. Who designed this nightmare of a place??????????????????????? Is it just me??? - Tiggi - 16-07-2009 Hi Mark, sorry you're not enjoying the process... The reason for posts not appearing is that all posts by new users are personally checked by moderators before being approved and appearing on the site. This is an attempt to weed out the vast number of spammers we get that just use the site for publicising their wares. It'll only last until you've made, I think, 10 posts, and you've been a member for a week. Stick with it... Is it just me??? - bryce - 17-07-2009 hey man, i know what you mean... the first week really sucks but afterwards everything is posted very quickly and directly. the greatest part about this site is that you don't have to worry about spammers, soliciters, really dumb people, or one time users of the site. stick with it because once you really get involved it's pretty fun. Is it just me??? - Daniel Eboli - 12-11-2009 I like this method, this way you can see who realy wants to be part of the comunity. Nice idea. Lots of scumbags around. Cheers! You should see the amount of crap we get on a daily basis from new members that decide to ignore what the probationary period is all about. But it provides a better viewing and hopefully better discussion experience for members that are interested in musical talk. |
