Hi Music Lovers;
New to this site; located in Vancouver Canada. Favorite music is from the 50's, 60's & 70's...and some of the 80's.
Originally thought I wanted to be a Disc Jockey....but that didn't work out, so I became just a big-time 'music lover' !
One song I have been searching out for a long, long time is by fellow Canadian recording artist Bobby Curtola and the particular song is his (awesome) version of (the Ray Charles' hit...) "I Can't Stop Loving You". Curtola does an amazing version of it with great musicality & terrific piano work....and I have found out that it was ONLY available on one Album entitled '21 Great Hits' VOL. III...and it was Track 19 (out of 21)
I believe there were several Volumes of this collection, but 'I Can't Stop Loving You' was featured on VOL. III and I believe it was released about 1998 and I further believe it was only issued on Vinyl and never did make it to CD....although there were (at some time...) plans to release this VOL.III on CD I don't think it ever happened !
If anyone knows of or has access to, or owns Bobby Curtola '21 Great Hits VOL.III' or knows where I can secure a copy, I would be ever grateful !
He did gain some popularity in the U.S. but not as big as he was in Canada of course, but I believe he also did quite well in Europe. I have been in contact with his 'people' (Manager; his son; and the President of his Fan Club) but so far, to no avail regarding this song !
Would love to hear from someone out there who might be of assistance !

Pretty amazing guy, this Bobby Curtola. Not just a singer, but also a record label founder (at 16!), serial entrepreneur in a number of fields, still performing at 71--a Canadian gift to the world. About that song: not to be too obvious but have you contacted him or his management company directly? A true fan like you should get an answer...or maybe even that song custom-cut. Hi ! and Thanks for your response; and Yes, as mentioned in my Posting, I have been in touch with his Manager, his Son, his Fan Club president etc. They are the ones who originally gave me the Info regarding the Title of this particular Album, the year, etc etc but they told me they honestly did not know how or where I could get my hands on this Album (or even just 'this one song' !)
There was no offer made (by them) to provide me a 'custom-cut'....which of course I was 'hoping' they might do; but no such luck !
