Don't actually know where you'd slot these folks--realistically, they mix so many elements so well, Alternate's a better choice. But then, true to the name, they're all-acoustic. Stringtown Listen to them any Sunday outdoors at a local restaurant. Their Site: http://stringtownmusic.com/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcCE-6R7zyI << well, OK, they let an electronic piano sneak in << I think this is the type of rendition JJ Cale would like, though he happily cashed the checks of the Southern rock version
Sorry but that's all I could find. Come down to SW Florida and make an afternoon of it...or buy their CDs by mail (not available elsewhere).

Grayson Rogers Band A dynamic band that's mostly country (but look at that guitarist's t-shirt). Mostly local and no CD yet but they've opened for national acts playing locally and gigged north to Georgia/Alabama. The Site: http://www.graysonrogers.com/ << A thoroughly pro outfit poised to break big--1-2 songs away from the Big Time
