i had wondered why Gotye had been silent since the success of his
"somebody that i used to know" single and album...
well, he's back with his band The Basics....
this single has a lot in common with fellow Aussie band Midnight Oil...
its heavy on drums with a stomping beat, its also full of social commentary
with political statements, sometimes serious, sometimes sarcastic...
its a far cry from the super smooth "somebody...." single,
probably wont be a hit but i like it.
