I hope it is alright to share my composition for oboe and piano. It was written after a personal tragedy. It is performed by Ian Pace (piano) and Christopher Redgate (oboe).

I agree that it's too ornamented /filigreed. Ornaments should decorate, not hide the tree.

You are obviously someone who hears music very differently to us mere mortals. I found your piece musically adept but was waiting for the piece to go somewhere. To me it sounds like the build-up to something without arriving at the actual destination. Just my opinion and because I don't really know much about classical music, take what I say with a pinch of salt. And yes it is OK to share your compositions with us. It sure as hell beats listening to the endless EDM crap we are subjected to on a regular basis.

Your English is just fine and speaks volumes. We need folks whose first language isn't English to put a charge in it, to electrify it. That's the beauty of English--it's flexibility...All of its changes shouldn't be just ghetto/gutter talk.

A question for you. You have posted a couple of pieces here which all seem to be short compositions (or parts thereof). Do you have any longer works? I can see your music being used in film quite easily. I would like to hear a piece that changes from suspense/dramatic themes to a calm piece and then maybe onto something else. About 10 to 15 minutes. It would give us all a better understanding of the flow of your compositions. AT the moment we are seeing a small part of it but cannot really see the bigger picture. Like only seeing part of the puzzle.

I don't write very long pieces. The longest is about nine minutes. I think the nature of my music people would have had enough by then! I will be releasing longer(6-8mins) pieces soon.
