The Temptations - Papa Was a Rollin' Stone (Freddy Bastone Remix) - Big Ears - 28-11-2014
Papa Was a Rollin' Stone by The Temptations. I think this is the Freddy Bastone 12" remix (8:57) on Motown ZT 41432, which was a hit in the UK in August 1987. It is the best version of the song that I have ever heard, but I have never been able to track it down. The video is a bit weird, but somehow it does fit.

Hi Big Ears, that is a wonderful version of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone". The video was fun, since I like dogs. It does fit as you mentioned. Thanks for posting this.

Phil Collins did a great version of Papa on his "going back" Motown covers album a couple of years ago,well worth checking out if you have the time and inclination to do so.

Lee Ritenour's versions look interesting.
