Then there is marvelous word indeed--Dave Mason is touring, doing songs from the '67 and '68 albums, his solo stuff and a whole bunch more. He's esteemed enough to get with him some spiff-o musicians. This grueling tour (check the schedule ) lasts 'til end of March '15. Now in Texas, they'll tour through the Southern Heartland (TN/KY/NC) do the Northeast Turnaround then visit the folks in the Upper Midwest. Did I mention a Georgia-Florida leg? The reviews have been ecstatic--in terms of musicality, pith and grit onstage and huge audience involvement. I sound like his pimp. I'm OK with that. I'm going to the gig and I'll buy the shirt--and it's been years since I bought a tour shirt. Of note: he's deliberately playing small/mid-size venues--he wants to, needs to feel that audience getting engaged.

Yes, I am a fan of Traffic. My favourite Traffic album is probably The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, but I also like Dave Mason's, Jim Capaldi's and Dave Mason's solo albums. Arc of a Diver is dated but brilliant.

The strange Dave Masonless John Barleycorn Must Die!!!! Great album...one of my favourites! Also like Low Spark of High Heeled Boys and the live album Welcome to the Canteen!

Yes a fan of Traffic for many years. John Barleycorn Must Die is my favourite. I like 'The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys' as well.
