Kirsten Thien Music is the main point and she makes it sultry-delicious, but she had me with the red hair and freckles. Then I learned she left a promising investment banking career to pursue her muse...oh, Daddy! Her 3rd album is 2011's Delicious. thanks for the turn on to Kirsten Thien, I was already familiar with Teresa James, she plays quite often in my area (Ventura California)

I enjoyed both singers! JazzBo in Florida and Burkey in California,,,no doubt both venues are music hotbeds as well as great hot weather!!!!

My area being mainly working-class and retirees is not the pumped music area other younger, ethnically diverse or more affluent parts are (think: Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Gainesville or Miami) but it's getting better. My tastes and interests were imported fully formed from the NorthEast US.

i remember the names Tampa,Gainesville and Jacksonville...must have either driven through them or seen the exit signs for them...!
no need to mention Miami,we all know Miami,its where Dexter Morgan comes from!
stopped off around Cape Canaveral/Merritt Island/Brevard County for a week or so...lovely place and great hospitality from Major Tim and family,will never forget it, especially the fish tacos,
of which i'd never eaten previously

should i really give my opinion of my impressions of California,well, not California really as i only spent a few hours at LAX waiting to fly east and out of the country again...

all the Homeland Security guys, and Law Enforcement people were accomodating to a visitor....
the staff at check-in etc also friendly....
the locals wouldnt even give you the time of day to point you in the right direction to another terminal....except for one little old black man who was sweeping the sidewalk, he couldnt help me enough
not saying all of LA or the North-West is like this, just sharing quick experiences from,like i said, a few hours at LAX.
huge airport,no wonder they need buses doing a terminal loop circuit!
