Compositions - ValexRs - 11-09-2014 Hello everyone. These are four of my contemporary classical compositions. What do you think? Hope you enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/valeriorisiglione/redress-rimediare https://soundcloud.com/valeriorisiglione/the-beginning https://soundcloud.com/valeriorisiglione/personal-journey https://soundcloud.com/valeriorisiglione/revival Compositions - Jerome - 11-09-2014 You are talented and I am sure you will be successful one way or another. Just one point - all your samples are in mono - try recording your pieces in stereo. Then when you add the synth strings use a stereo widener to open up the audio picture. You will notice a huge difference once you do that. If you listen to this on headphones the 'picture' is narrow. Turn it into a cinematic experience - especially for the type of music you are writing. How are you recording this? Compositions - ValexRs - 12-09-2014 Thanks for your advice. I'm glad you like my music. I'm recording these songs with the sound card. Compositions - SteveO - 12-09-2014 You are very good! Best of luck in your musical endeavours! ( Yamaha YDP-141 ) I am not familiar with the equipment but there should be a way to get a stereo signal out of it and into a DAW. That way you can record your stereo piano part on one track (split into left and right signals) and then do some arranging for strings etc. over that. It will give you a lot of flexibility to experiment and aid you in composing. If you need some help give me a shout and I will be able to explain it to you. |
