White folks doing Black music is a deep sub-genre (Blue-Eyed Soul); how about Black folks doing White music, namely Country? Not as much material and no twangs but here's 2 albums that collect the best. This is not jokey, novelty stuff nor is it confined to Charlie Pride or Stoney Edwards.
