tsydae - Fairy Tale - tsydae - 02-05-2014 Instrumental electronic music, 120 bpm https://soundcloud.com/tsydae/fairy-tale tsydae - Fairy Tale - Jerome - 03-05-2014 I like some elements of this, especially the synths weaving in and out. The melody aspect of it is a bit weak and indistinct but overall a good effort. The electronic drums need imagination/work. Not good at all. And finally the bpm of any piece is irrelevant. Everyone seems to be obsessed by what the bpm is. Just create the piece that you want to. It does not have to subscribe to a predetermined formula. tsydae - Fairy Tale - tsydae - 04-05-2014 Thanks for the critic. I'm working on it. tsydae - Fairy Tale - Jerome - 04-05-2014 Good luck - a rework on the drums (think how a real drummer would approach this) and you are good to go. Try and make the melody stand out a bit more. maybe double track the melody line with another instrument - one that stands out a bit more. You have the right idea - just needs a bit of spit and polish. Would like to hear more of your work - it has potential. Don't give up! BTW the drums are OK initially but around the 3:06 mark it loses focus/impetus - that's what I mean. |
