A lot of work into that album cover, so I gotta give 'em that. Former Erasure guy with his second solo. Never was a fan of them, but I do have one album. This one is way too dance/techno for me. I did find one track that was ok. Of course there's no clip for it. Stuck the album here, cause I'm not sure where to stick it. Well, I do know one place. That's just my ears. Singles of Running Out and Will You Be There. The last track includes an appearance by Perry Farrell.

Brother/sister duo from Australia with their second album. Started performing together in 2006 at local clubs. Mostly acoustic numbers that could be considered folk and I started to put this in that thread, but some are a little harder, so I ended up here once again. This is hard. It's just all music to me. Already a big hit in the homeland with this entering the charts at #1. First single is And The Boys. Beautiful voice for Julia, just like Joanna Newsom.

Thought I should update this post.
Recently purchased the album via a download.
Being on heavy rotation all week, the album has really grown on me, and has now reached the love status, with Big Jet Plane now being my favorite.
Amazing what a little airplay can do (my air).

This was the last one. Well, before the reforming. Are they making another album? Not sure. This is the one where they grew up a little imo. A downer for many I guess. I like all of their 6 albums and I'm not sure where this would rank. Near the top I expect. Always is probably my favorite song on all the albums. Love I Miss You to, but I just wish someone would have told DeLonge, the h in head is not silent. And I love the line about spiders killing things and eating their insides. Singles of Always, Down, I Miss You and Feeling This. None of the singles charted that well, but the album made it to #3 on the U.S. charts. And it was a pleasure to hear Robert Smith on All Of This.

First of the latest three from the infamous Robbie.

Another disc from the Alt-Brooce act from - you guessed it - New Jersey.

The comparison with The Boss is, again, inescapable, but they certainly have something about them. This album is more energetic than the one listened to a few days ago, and I think it's the better of the two.

Enjoyable album.

Florida band formed in 1997 with their 5th album, 2nd with major label Sire. Butch Vig is back with the production chores. They pick up a new drummer in George Rebelo, as Warren Oakes split to try out the restaurant business. First single is I Was A Teenage Anarchist. This album is said to be quite a change from the previous. I wouldn't know. One near great track here, which pushes it into the possible buy range. This guys vocals on the fast tracks sounds like Meat Loaf.
