What 's the weather like where you are ? - Pharmcat - 07-07-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:.....officer became pork rind, I presume??? Funny!!!!!!!!!! What 's the weather like where you are ? - CRAZY-HORSE - 07-07-2016 i thought so. What 's the weather like where you are ? - CRAZY-HORSE - 07-07-2016 its actually been a cooler than usual winter thus so far... daily temps are hovering around the 16-18C (60-64F)... hasn't really rained much more than usual but the winds are bitterly cold... I usually like the cooler months, ie: mid Autumn thru late Spring but I must be getting old because the cold is really starting to piss me off, hate it!... maybe i'll enjoy and appreciate the summer a bit more now?!? whats your favourite time of the year bob_32??? What 's the weather like where you are ? - bob_32_116 - 09-07-2016 It's only 10 deg C here, in the middle of the afternoon, and HAILING. Hailstones as big as... ummm... hailstones. We don't do golf balls here. What 's the weather like where you are ? - bob_32_116 - 09-07-2016 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:whats your favourite time of the year bob_32??? Summer. It's the main reason why I moved to Perth. There is only one thing wrong with summer here. I don't mind the heat, but I get very tired of listening to people complaining about it. Especially people who could move and live elsewhere if they chose. What 's the weather like where you are ? - CRAZY-HORSE - 09-07-2016 bob_32_116 Wrote:Summer. LOL... that's me, I hate the heat, anything over 28C is hot for me, but I work in the sun in summer, maybe that's half the reason... believe me, if I had the money, I would move...spend summers in Margaret River, Dunsborough or Busselton and move back in the cooler months. I jus checked the temp gauge outside and it only got to 10C/50F as a max today. What 's the weather like where you are ? - bob_32_116 - 09-07-2016 We also had a minor earthquake yesterday evening, if you class that as "weather". When I say "we", the epicentre was a long way east of Perth, but apparently some people in high rise buildings in Perth felt a bit of movement. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-07-09/wa-braces-for-aftershocks-after-earthquake/7583044 The intensity of the quake was about the same as the one that devastated the city of Newcastle some years ago, but fortunately this one was located in a sparsely populated area so there were no deaths or injuries or serious damage. What 's the weather like where you are ? - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-07-2016 Jack Frost came-a-calling last night! -1.9C (29F) where I am last night... What 's the weather like where you are ? - bob_32_116 - 13-07-2016 CH must live in a colder part of Perth than I do; the "official overnight min for Perth metro area" was +0.6, and the station where those readings are taken is quite close to where I live. 0C may not impress Brits or Americans as being particularly cold, but it's quite cold enough for me thank you. |
