Raising Your Voice...Trying To Stop An Echo is my main jam, but this album is solid too. I've listened to both albums today, heh.
I had cruddy sounding earbuds when I listened to Departure Songs a few days ago and so, I got a new pair and this album sounds even better, it's pretty great. I love it. Hammock makes me feel good. I'm surprised I enjoy this tbh.

My technology was playing up yesterday, or I would have said Happy Birthday to Hans-Joachim Roedelius who is a Berlin born experimental, ambient and electronic musician and composer, and a founder of the Krautrock bands Kluster/Cluster/Qluster and Harmonia â heâs also collaborated with the likes of Brian Eno, Dieter Moebius (who was also in Kluster/Cluster) and Tim Story and he has a number of solo albums to his credit - heâs a pianist, plays the guitar and uses synthesizers extensively.
I only know a mere fraction of his more melodic work â the dissonant stuff doesnât appeal to me too much, although it is certainly interesting! This is no wishy washy new age gruel â he creates such depth of sound - some of it quite heartachingly gorgeous.
Anyway â Iâve been trawling blindly around his discog listening to bits and pieces â these are some of those I like â¦
