Currently Watching? - Music Head - 07-05-2011 Ambrosia on Fallon show didn't know these guys were still around did one of them old songs, so no new album Currently Watching? - Music Head - 08-05-2011 Belle Brigade on Conan show acoustic based folk touring with K.D. Lang better live than the album I heard Currently Watching? - Music Head - 09-05-2011 Neon Trees on Letterman show must be a new album on the way last one never caught on for me, but became an alt hit song was ok dudes pointed mohawk didn't work looks like Squiggy Currently Watching? - Tiggi - 09-05-2011 Christy Moore live show recorded at Barrowlands in Glasgow in 2008. Just him & his accompanist Declan Sinnott. CM is an Irish Folkie who specialises in proud & impassioned songs, often with a political slant. Excellent show. Currently Watching? - Music Head - 10-05-2011 Civil Wars on Leno show interesting when a song/group like this starts getting heavy chart action why? nothing like what is normally popular. in this case, the reason is the airing of the song on Grey's Anatomy. took off the next day. amazing, the power of mass media Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-05-2011 i taped a one and a half hour special on the Small Faces last night, just watching it now...man i love these guys! second only to the Beatles from that era IMO,closely followed by The Who,Manfred Mann and Kinks. Currently Watching? - CMB1888 - 10-05-2011 Tiggi Wrote:Christy Moore live show recorded at Barrowlands in Glasgow in 2008. He is class - I wonder what he makes of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding with his travellers rights perspective! I was just watching The Apprentice, compulsive viewing ('Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon') Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 12-05-2011 Chris Cornell of Soundgarden on Fallon....brilliant acoustic performance of Marley's "redemption song" also the great John McEnroe interviewed by Fallon...my favourite tennis player of all time, aint no 'characters' like him around now, thats why tennis is boring!, just started his own tennis acadamy in NY, good to see him giving something back to the sport he was involved in! Currently Watching? - Music Head - 12-05-2011 Def Leppard on Leno show Pour Some Sugar On Me a man's gotta eat I guess Currently Watching? - gryphon - 12-05-2011 Excellent if harrowing story of the pioneer producer Joe Meek. Gripping story that tells the about the troubled life of Joe Meek. It gives a fascinating insight into the man , his music and his pioneering work. Joe is sadly overlooked in the world outside the UK as a great contributor to the music of today.....but stands as great as say George Martin , Tony Visconti or Brian Wilson and yet without his contributions , we would still be making essentially live recordings of artists in a studio............. If you ave never expolored the work of Joe this is a start, as are the many compilation of his work and it is a world well worth exploring...............this is a man who turned own The Beatles and Tom Jones fostered Richie Blackmore and many more ..............Joe was one of the world's first independent record producers and above all whose genius shone above his artists............to appreciate his work fully means going beyond the few famous tracks and delving into the obscure ...............it is a worthwhile journey and will reveal much more than you might imagine ...............
