Really thought this would come out as a love album. With 28 tracks it just went too deep. 9 love tracks and 6 I don't like. Brenda was fairly
popular in the early 60's and we know what the competition was. Sales dropped off quick after that period but she continued putting out albums
into the 90's. After her pop stardom she gradually moved over into the country arena, which made her one of the few performers making both the
rock and country HOF's. Brenda is 70 now and probably only rocks around the christmas tree. Only giving links for my love tracks and my worst
track.

I like Brenda's Rocking Around The Christmas Tree too!! We used to sing it alot at Christmas time. I remember when Brenda was a kid and just starting out. She was on the Danny Thomas Show.

Just misses the love mark but I love them anyway. I had fallen for the british invasion thing but I wanted them to have some U.S. competition.
These guys fit the bill. I have all of their studio albums and a greatest hits on vinyl, but I needed this. They came out of the Greenwich
Village club scene mid 60's. Signed by Kama Sutra they had a hit right off with Do You Believe In Magic. Seven top 10 singles in their first two
peak years. Summer In The City was the only one to hit #1. Looks like they hold the record along with Gary Lewis & The Playboys for their first
7 singles going top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Hey that's waht it says, don't blame the messenger. Yanofsky left the band in '67 after
he was busted for marijuana possession. Sebastian went for the solo career in '68. Their last album in '69 only has Joe Butler as an original
member. Still a great album. They all were. Short career but deserving of that HOF induction. Yanovsky died in 2002. Probably a marijuana
overdose.
