Curious as to what you think of the Milagro album. One of the few Santana albums I don't own.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "lucky town" and "human touch"

used to own these on vinyl back in the day but they got lost somewhere along the road of life!
not a big fan of these two, i thought Bruce was at his worst around this time and only bought them because they were cheap to complete my Boss collection on cd.

What Did You Buy? - Music Head - 30-07-2013

^^
not a Sheeran fan yet

have both of those on vinyl
and would have bought any Bruce studio in that period
but you are correct, not him at his best

Yeah, I was pretty excited to find it for about $5 at the record store I went to because its fairly overpriced everywhere else.

As for what I think of it, I'm fairly biased as I love pretty much everything Carlos touches. But, if I had to try and explain it, I'd say its "Spirits Dancing in the Flesh" on steroids. I wouldn't necessarily spend the $15 that Amazon's looking for, but, its definitely not bad by any means. "Somewhere in Heaven," "Saja/Right On," "Gypsy/Grajonca," and "A Dios" are all really good standouts and, in my opinion, some of his best from that general era of his career. The rest, again in my opinion, aren't really super distinguishable from "Spirits Dancing in the Flesh" or "Beyond Appearances" in some instances.

Still a great album, but, fairly overpriced. :\

I think you're the one who turned me onto them. Someone posted in some jazz thread about them and I decided to look into them. Fairly sure you're the culprit. Great band, I'm really enjoying my run through their catalog. Smile
