Alice Cooper, who I never used to like but who I gained a bit of respect for later on, has (or had) a syndicated radio program that I used to often enjoy. I recall him once briefly mentioning Marilyn Manson. It was pretty obvious that he regarded Manson as basically a copycat of himself, right down to the gimmick of a male adopting what's normally a female name.
