It only rains twice a year in Ireland. The first time it lasts for 6 months and the second time it lasts for 24 weeks.

terrible, terrible day today....
was 38C/100F at 8:30am,
was 39.7C/103F at 4:00pm,
but reached an even worse 42.5C/108F at around 3:30pm...

Hey CH - I would put up with the heat just to be able to see blue skies again. And real sunsets and sunrises. I have been here for 15 years and I have never seen a good sunset or sunrise. Not once. And the beauty of the night sky is simply non-existent. Here it's just grey, morning, noon and night. In fact a lot of Europe is like that.

aint nothing better than gazing up at a sky of stars at night...
sunsets/sunrises can be breathtaking at times....
