RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-05-2022

517.8 million cases now,

a rough increase of 7.8 million cases int he last 15 days...

link to up-to-date stats:   COVID Live - Coronavirus Statistics - Worldometer (worldometers.info)

W.H.O  also estimates that 15 million people have died from Covid since it started which is a lot more than the official 6 million deaths and that it probably a definite possibility considering the lack of proper medical facilities in the Third World countries, hard to get to places in South America and India and countries that dont release proper statistics like China, Nth Korea, Russia etc etc....
and if that WHO estimate is anywhere near being accurate i would also say worldwide cases could have exceeded one billion also...

RE: Covid-19 - Music Head - 12-05-2022

I saw where N. Korea just reported their first case
they must be healthy over there

RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 15-05-2022

^^

Nth Korea are in deep doo-doo....
total chaos over there because a virus is something they cannot totally control.

RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 21-05-2022

526.8 million cases now....

thats an increase of 9,000,000 in 10 days...

(almost 2.5 million of that come from Nth Korea via unofficial sources)

we are currently getting between 12,000-17,000 new cases a day here in Western Australia since our State Govt opened up our State borders and dropped mask and crowd limits a month or so ago but at least the infections are of the milder Omicron variant and not the Delta strain.
i know seven people who have contracted it in the last two to three weeks.

RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 28-05-2022

531,100,000 cases now

just under 5.4 million new cases in the last week.

its strange how different people have different symptoms also.

i know a family who had Covid recently (husband, wife and three young children)
Husband: in bed for ten days with pneumonia type symptoms
Wife: sore throat and cough for a week.
12yo son: runny nose and eyes (similar to hayfever)
10yo son: no symptoms at all but tested positive
7yo son: fever, cold and cough (similar to flu)

^You can add one more to the latest number. Bleugh.

RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 29-05-2022

sorry to hear that Ruby,
hopefully your symptoms and recovery will be no more than the common Flu.

RE: Covid-19 - Music Head - 29-05-2022

^^
I was trying to figure out who Bleugh was

RE: Covid-19 - Ruby - 30-05-2022

^Should've been bleurgh. Lol!
All I can say is I'm very glad not to have had the first round.
It's not a picnic, whatever anyone says.

the wife of a good friend of mine is currently in hospital with Covid and she is an extremely fit person (shes a 'personal trainer'),
