So, on the numbers you gave me Linda...
Your health insurance is almost three times as expensive as ours
and your wages are around a 1/3 of hours.

And on the higher insurance amount its almost six times as expensive as ours????!!!

That's a huge disparity when the numbers are crunched...

I guess that's why Australia is called "the lucky country"...

And I wasn't putting you guys down as individuals but your law makers etc
really need to level up the playing field to make it more equal for its citizens to live
comfortably.

Its exactly like Kennedy famously said....

Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

And again, don't get me wrong,
I met a lot of friendly, helpful, courteous Americans when I was there in 2011.
Well,
except for the rude people I spoke to to get help at LAX(two old black men the exceptions),
and one man in Kentucky(but I'm not going there!).

Insurance is the single biggest scam ever visited upon the human race. A bunch of ruthless thieving bastards.

I couldn't agree more Jerome

lol
this thread got busy

Linda keeps it alive
apologies to her for assuming she was listening to dem talking points
just didn't understand why you said republicans have no alternative plans for health care
they may not be great ones but they are out there

cheers to Jerome on his insurance company comment
they prey on peoples misfortunes to build up their fortunes
in my perfect world they would be eliminated as far as health care
vultures they are

believe it or not I am for the totally government run system
I realize it can never happen here

I am under the VA system and it works fine for me
the only thing I pay for is a $24 co-pay on prescriptions

No need to apologize to me ED. You are still my best buddy here Confusedmile:
I also agree about the insurance companies.
Deductables are hurting me and now I have to pay taxes on insurance (geez).
You are lucky Music Head for being under the VA system!

former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg thinking about getting in the race now as an independent
another gift for the dems
thinking he would pull more votes from the right than the left
then we would have 2 billionaires in the race

I know that this is a very simplistic point of view, and that I should probably be shot for saying this (and rightly so), but I just can't imagine Mr Trump's missus being the First Lady. And I don't mean that I don't think that she is a lady but she just does not fit the 'stereotype'. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

She is a beautiful woman but First Lady no.
Seems if they went mud slinging the Dems could go after her
for her almost nude pics. Her tops don't leave much to the imagination.
I don't think the Dems would do that but they sure could.
It it were my friend House M.D., he would say she looks like a prostitute

No woman could be worse than that nutcase Palin! I heard her rant supporting Trump live on CNN....I was in another room and I actually thought it was SNL!...lol..I wonder what she's on?
