Same dilemna up here in Canada, Reb! Our Prime Minister Harper is going to visit Ukraine this Friday!!!..what's with that? Canada shells out way too much money to other countries when its' own people are unemployed and starving!!!!! Look after your own backyard...too much work for them to work on our social problems..easier to shell out money!!!! What a farce...lazy politicians...useless!!!! Our troops finally all came home from Afghanistan last week!

I cannot understand why the European electorate shells out billions of dollars for aid to Africa when Africa is well able to feed and clothe itself. It is, after all, the raw materials warehouse of the world. It's the despots and dictators (planted by the West no less so that they have a constant supply of materials) who receive the 'aid' and then promptly pocket this, some of which goes to the local mafia/military/police department to beat the electorate into submission. These so-called leaders (freeloaders by any other name) then go and build large palaces. Where? Europe of course!
And we are supposed to be the most advanced species on the planet.......

Glad to hear our troops have left Afghanistan, Steve!! I missed that one because every once in awhile I have to stop watching the news. I get sick of the same things but then I usually catch up. Now let's get the rest of our military home from everywhere. Put some of them on the southern border where we need them!!

Let the chips fall where they may and let Afghanistan take care of their own problems. As long as they are not hurting us best thing is leave them alone and concentrate on our own problems.
