got woken up about an hour or so ago(midnight) by one of the loudest thunderclaps i think i have ever heard and driving rain.

it rained all yesterday, so much so that i decided not to go to work...being self employed i can do that, just means i'll go in on the weekend if the weather eases off a bit.

Lot's of much needed rain but I'm hoping it will clear up for Independence Day on Monday. I want to BBQ and see the fireworks at the beach Smile

It's a heatwave here for the past two days (at least for Scotland anyway!). Been shorts and t shirt which is a rarity!

Crap as usual - it's Ireland - what can I say. Still no sign of summer (10th year in a row now) and it's almost over!

We had a decent 4th - it was too hot for me though. Decent in Rochester (A.K.A. "Roc City" which is a lot less cooler than it sounds) is any day we're not buried in snow or that the heat and humidity are not killing you slowly by making you feel like you are walking around wrapped in and breathing through a hot, wet, bath towel. I prefer 65-72F temps with a mild breeze and not too much sun. Not too picky am I
