I know right. I guess they will try to remove ISIS approved content, Twitter has been trying to ban ISIS accounts and recently some alt-right ones. It appears they will be trying to tackle terrorist related content.

On the other hand, what is extremist can be a slippery slope. Will be interesting to see what these companies will do since they plan on working together on this endeavor.

I hear you. For instance, ISIS has been successful at reaching some people, especially young adults in different countries on the internet encouraging them to join and help radicalize them. Some people are impressionable and could be inspired by terror based information to act independently.

theres no negotiating with the likes of ISIS/IS/ISIL or whatever else theyre called, the only language they understand is one of extreme violence
and that's the only way to contain them, I say contain because terrorist organisations are never defeated, they just go underground and remerge
