Illinois metal band formed in 1996. This is their fifth studio album and the first 4 have reached gold status. It wasn't with my help, nor will it be for this one. I'll leave it for you metal guys. The material on this album was actually recorded at the same time as their last album, so in affect is leftover stuff. Scream With Me is the first single.

Sunn O))) - Alice from Monoliths & Dimensions [Southern Lord, 2009]
This song is a drone-metal tribute to Alice Coltrane. Only Sunn O))) can pull this off. I've let this album rest for a few months. I'm bringing it back out as I reflect on my favorite releases of 2009. This one is in the top 10.
