saddened to hear British stage/film actor Ben Cross has passed away.
best known for his role in Chariots Of Fire but for me also as Spock's father, Sarek, in Star Trek movies and as Rudolph Hess in the TV mini-series Nuremberg: Nazi's On Trial.

an Australian female swimmer has just swum the English Channel for the 35th time.
funny thing is that i went across the Channel once on a Ferry to Oostende, Belgium, would never do it again, too rough!

sorry but i wont be watching it, Max Von Sydow and young Linda Blair have made those roles truly their own, they cant be replaced IMO
