Would it I could capture today in meteorological stasis: Puppy & I started our trail run in bright sun and 48F while ending about 2 hrs later at 54F...SE KY had a particularly brutal Feb and Mar, during which we kept running - our coldest outing being 7F, reduced to -5F windchill. Lovely to see the forest exploding with Spring buds and the rangers have stated that we've an epic black bear cubbing season, which of course means a response to the proliferation of game (due to rather dramatic climate change even right here in the lower Appalachians) and a corollary growth of apex predators troubling to this trail runner like the big cats! In fact, all you need do is search "trail camera", "eastern Kentucky", and "cougar" or "mountain lion" to witness some of the monster felines that haunt my running venues. Anyway, that's why doggie-doo & I wear bear bells and I carry an air horn./peace, Katherine

Glad to hear all the critters near you are exceptionally horny. Maybe they feel soul-deep something we refuse to recognize--Damn those scientists anyway--what do they know...except facts--have they no feelings for alleged business needs? Sunny and plus 1 Celsius(34 Fahrenheit) here today! Now hopefully the seven foot (21 metre) snow banks will start to recede!

87° partly sunny and humid. But not as humid as yesterday, it felt like over 100° and air was so thick you could hardly breathe and I don't have breathing problems... it was bad! I hate weather like that or any heat. I like Fall weather the best!
